Why Aggressive Civvies
Born on 28th April 2025, Aggressive Civvies was built to create ally kit that looks good, holds up, and does the job without the nonsense.
We are a Bootneck-founded brand with a simple aim: make practical, good-quality clothing and kit for people who live actively, train hard, get outdoors, and don’t want to pay over the odds for gear that is more marketing than substance.
We know what matters because we have used kit properly: in the field, in the cold, in the wet, in the mountains, and everywhere in between. That experience shapes what we make, what we sell, and what we refuse to overcomplicate.
Our mission is to keep things honest, functional, and ally. Good kit. Fair value. No gimmicks.
Tom Co-founder
Tom, one of the founders of Aggressive Civvies outdoor clothing. He served 10 years in the Royal Marines and is a self-confessed kit pest, having spent a serious amount of cash over the years trying to find the perfect bit of gear. The idea behind Aggressive Civvies came about on a ski lift in France when it was proper icers. The thinking was simple, if people in the British military are already wearing walking trousers, approach shoes and a warm jacket down to the shops, and calling it “aggressive civvies”, why not turn that into a brand? One that gives people good quality kit that actually looks ally. Aggressive Civvies will be an affordable brand that doesn’t compromise on durability, function or style.
Ben Co-founder
Ben is one of the founders at Aggressive Civvies, he served 5 years in the Royal Marine Commandos.
“One of the things that i have always found is that if you shop around you dont need to spend a fortune to get decent kit. But its not always easy to find. Me and Tom wanted to find Ally kit that looks decent and is good quality. The fact we are a Bootneck brand means we have done the Job and know what it requires, from spending months out in Norway, the dessert, the mountains to shooting and skiing we know whats important and what is a gimmick we are spending money where it counts and keeping it Ally”
Niall Communications Director
Niall is the Communications Director at Aggressive Civvies and joined us in 2026.
He will help to shape how Aggressive Civvies speaks to its audience, across the socail platforms from product launches and social content to the wider message behind the brand.
